148 sqdn

I am trying to find information about the crash of a 148 sqdn bomber on the night of 16th july 1942 over Tobruck in Libya. Members of the crew included Murray A Bennetto (a canadian) and, the person of interest, Sgt Ronald Cecil Drake.

Also any information about 148 sqdn and their operations around this date.

I have further information about the crew and operations in the build up to this date.
