I have this partial Lebel. It needs a bolt and a trigger guard and a fore end. let me know if you can help me restore this rifle i could also use a bayonet for it. they have a smooth handle and a crucieform blade.
quillion thank you very much I had seen pix of them on ebay but didnt know why the quillion was absent , now I know. this is an outstanding example of forum members helping each other out in trying to understand something.little by little by little I come to a better understanding of the great war and the second world war. I have a German ww1 bayonet. but it was turked or shortened its marked Mauser, Oberndorf. I enjoy bayonets almost as much as I enjoy rifles and helmets etc.
Check here: http://p102.ezboard.com/bparallaxscurio ... armsforums Do you intend to fire it? If so, you will need to get the headspacing checked and possibly corrected when you replace the bolt.
