A friend of mine asked me today how many posts I thought were on this site. I guessed approximately 10 to 12 thousand. About 2 minutes ago, I pulled out my windows calculator and I discovered that there are over 21,000! Frankly I'm shocked and pleased. Thanks all for making the site what is is today, I can't imagine what it will look like in another twelve months!

FYI: there will be some upcoming, (next 60 days), upgrades to the Forums, and one of them will be a total post indicator. This is so I won't need to take my shoes off every time I want to tally the posts. :D

Otto, you made this a home away from home...and sometimes even a home within my home....I visit daily and really enjoy the contacts I have made here and reading the threads. Much interesting information and discussion is being posted here!

Will the memberlist be included in the upcoming up-date?

Thanks dude! To many more posts to come!

Thanks all for the kind words. Id like to take the credit, really, but I really don't post much, and it's the maturity and knowledge of the members that make this such a civil and sometimes even fun environment.

Stevin and Erich, I used to have this feature before. Unfortunately I have heard of people grabbing all the emails and selling them to e-commerce companies. I want to include it, but this feature has quite a few avenues for abuse. In the interest of security I think I will keep the list private. I'll have to see if I can export the list to a file so that people I trust, (like you guys), can have a look.

 Otto, I agree with Stevin. I feel at home here (well, I am at home...) but I was referring to the warm and confortable environment here. Thank you for making this site, because you permitted us to have a place where to discuss a passion of many: WWII, meet friends and talk about many funny insanities. :D [IMG] Well, who cares if everybody's wives, girlfriends, etc. become jealous of this forum? If they love us they will have to live with it. We are just having fun here, we are not kissing anyone, are we? :D For now... ;) [IMG]

I too, am amazed at the "family" environment that has been created here by the members of the forums. We all owe Otto a great debt.
