315th Infantry Regiment 79th Infantry Division ww2

Looking to chat with people who had family members in this unit during ww11. I don't know how to find out what company my relative was in though. Not sure how to do that other than requesting records. Any other way to find that out. Anything on him just list regiment and division but no company

Thanks. I can never figure out how to copy and paste. Every time I try it just never works. I think some people on wikitree doesn't like that. .Pictures are so great but I get sad when I just don't know my relatives company and they don't have names on the pictures
