    Found this and thought I'd share one soldier's account of WW II. He was ASTP before being sent to the ETO where he joined the 75th Infantry Div in time for Wacht Am Rhein. He fought at Colmar and at the Ruhr where he played spotter and later on was bombed by a P-47 and strafed by a Spitfire.
