For five years now Bobby (A-58) has sent in a Christmas greeting card, always carried in a very festive envelope. This year's submission continues his tradition of providing a Christmas greeting along with a tasty Creole recipe. I have to imaging the penguin image on the envelope is an appropriate and fitting homage to one of the WW2F site mascots: the PanzePenguin.

Bobby continued the tradition of a Christmas in Baton Rouge theme.

    And now for the contents:

And the all important recipe, this time a Creole version of Seafood Gumbo. Creole differentiating from Cajun in that it uses tomatoes as an ingredient, where Cajun does not.

For a trip through Christmas past, here are Bobby's previous cards.

You didn't miss it. When I receive a card, I make a post that very day to keep the threads in this forum sorted. That original post is empty, and I'll then hide the thread until I can scan the cards, update the WW2F/FPS map, and populate the post with some text. When all that is done I'll unhide the thread so all can see it. This process is usually fairly quick, but scanner problems significantly delayed the process this time. I bumped the thread as the original post was some time ago, and wouldn't show up in the current site feed. I will delete the *bump* post once someone posts in the thread, as I've done here.

Mrs. Otto is a great cook. One of her many specialties is a shrimp boil. I'll need to suggest she make it again soon. :shrimp: :shrimp:
