Just got a little batch of assorted soldier snapshots which included this scene.... It's a Happy New Year from 1941/42, from the ?????front ( I just can't make it out ). Note image of Fuhrer ; I'm guessing from the crossed pick and shovel that the party is being given by an RAD battalion ( ? ) with some visiting Wehrmacht men ( note EKII ribbons ). Anyhow - a good excuse to wish all the Forums' dedicated militaria collectors a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year 2014! :S!
Same here. A happy 2014 to all of you . http://www.war44.com/history-britain-during-world-war-ii/2141-christmas-decorations-during-wwii.html
