In Hitler's Germany, there were Hitler-Jugend for boys and Bundesmädel or Jung-Mädel for girls?

I believe there was as you say the Hitler Jugend for boys and I think going from memory that the girl's equivalent was the Bunde Deutscher Madchen (Apologees in advance for spelling and lack of umlauts, or ther appropriate punctuation), or BDM.

I was struggling with the right one but that was it, thanks Simonr.

The correct spelling, btw, is "Bund Deutscher Mädel", or "league of German girls".
