This pertains to everyone who doesn't blindly follow or agree with OLDDs policies.

"Your just one of those ignorant backwoods types that cling to their guns and religions".

Just because this freak wants complete control over everything here does not mean that the other half of the population of this Country wants it. I STILL cannot believe at how STUPID people were in electing this guy in office?!?!

    That is so funny.

Middle class my ass...the middle class are used as tax sponge by who ever is in power. Gordon's Brown remark for the lower class or working class looks like a kick in the teeth.

After the general election and who ever is in power stand by for the big tax hike!

    Carl

Our dear leader said this prior to his election to a group in San Francisco. Probably the only city in which he could get away with this statement.

A political storm is brewing over Sen. Barack Obama's recent statements. Last Sunday, Obama was explaining his difficulty with winning over working-class voters in Pennsylvania and the Midwest, saying they have become frustrated with economic conditions:
"And it's not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations," Obama said.

Hi Ted, thank you for the full quote. I will tell my friend Bob-on the Duke Wayne site-about it and also post it there ;-))

PS, on something totally unrelated, Ted, I hope you saw and read my urgent warning to you in the Militaria section concerning a possible deal you have going on with agfa-lupex--chrys m. alexander. I want to make sure you don't get taken for a ride.

    Take care Ted--best regards-_Carl.

PS, I have told a few guys about your wound badges-so im hoping they will attempt to reach you on them? I wish I had the extra cash or i'd get those from you ;-)) Both are nice examples-especially the Silver WB.

Yeah, and IF they ever started listening to the people who voted in their elections--which I highly doubt unless they have it through their heads that their jobs are at stake-they aint going to listen. However, the situation here is rapidly reaching a boiling point and yes, they can totally ignore 1 person, they can ignore 10 people, they can ignore 100 people by merely mentioning that they must be insane radicles, they can ignore 1000, by saying they are law-breaking protestors who have no legs to stand on, they couild even ignore 10,000 people by saying they are so mis-informed, but they cannot ignore 100,000 people because they WILL directly and could have, a direct in their livelihood-meaning, that could be more than enough pissed off people-who will help vote them out of office. Well, that 100,000 marker has been more than reached and many of those politicians are starting to worry about it-bigtime. Recent case in point-nancy pelosi-who almost cried when making a certain speech about us Conservative types who are a danger to the Country and could cause extreme violence just because we-and now many dems-oppose OLDDs policies-black, brown and white alike.

And if it comes as a surprise to you? most conservatives I know, among their personal heros are: JOHN WAYNE, AUDIE LEON MURPHY, RONALD WILSON REAGAN, GEORGE WASHINGTON, GEORGE S. PATTON JR. ROBERT EDWARD LEE, FATHER DUFFY, FATHER FLANNAGAN and many many Gentlemen such as these are.

We also could have heros from other Countries. I do and for many reasons. From England, Captain Richard Wallace Annand V.C, General Orde Wingate-for starters. From Germany (Belgium) and personal to me-Remy Schrijnen, Wolfgang Luth, and the crew of U 181, Michael Possinger and others from other places. However, most peope might not be able to "see" why I have several from a former enemy combatant, but none the less, I feel the same way about these gents as I do the others listed. From Russia, I admire but don't idolize Georgi Zhukov, Ivan Konev, Konstantin Rokossovsky, Budenny, Leo Tolstoy. Japan, I have respect for Adm. Yamamoto, Seburo Sakai (SP?) ??? Kawaguchi I forget what his first name is?

Notice you didn't see any Rock Stars or Sports Stars listed ;-))

Only if the silliness is continued. As I guess im being ganged up on a couple Brits who are more than slightly left leaning and who just cant stand to see a Conservative stand up and make a point.

    Cheers.
