    Hi,

I am puzzled by these abbreviations used in reports like :

Three S/S A/A seen at a distance dive bombing a convoy

    or

Three SE E/B seen at distance dive bombing a convoy off

These might be covering the same event

Any ideas of what s meant here
    Thanks

    Serge

    Hi both of you,

Thanks. The abbreviations might be right.

Insofar as I am concerned I am an old geezer of 86 years old who was in France during the war and who has for the last 15 years undertook to write about WWII in France (and in Europe of course) and is now writing about the year 1944.

    That's about it.
