I have finally planned a trip to the Philly, New Jersey area in September. Can't wait to visit the famous Aberdeen proving ground, hopefully I can catch a glimpse of theosefamous WWII tanks, tank destroyers, and even the Anzio railroad gun there. From what I heard, the USS New Jersy battleship also moared not too far away. I am dieing to check out those mammoth 16-inch guns up close and personal.

They are. I have visited USS NORTH CAROLINA, moored in Wilmington, and her guns, which are also 16 inchers, are most impressive.

My first destination is actually Philadelphia, I was told that the USS New Jersey is very close by, and that Aberdeen is only about 1 and 1/2 hour away. I hope you take lots of pictures, especially the Anzio annie, the Tigers, the Wasp, the Cricket, the Nashorns, the Hummels...etc.
