ive been posting here for months and natually assumed roel ,ricky et al to be stately grey bearded history proffesors at oxford or eaton...tweed jackets and pipe smoke.....now i come to find out that ricky is 12 years old and roel just turned eleven....what next, simoner is in 5th grade?thses kids should be out rideing their bikes and playing nintendo ...not lectureing old farts like me about world events....
Just to clarify, I'm not a moderator on here... Oh and I'm practically an old man compared to Ricky and Roel (28!).
ROEL IS 11 AND RICKY'S 12!!!!!????? In Roel's pictures he looks like he's over 14! And here I'm being told he's 11, just a year older than me!? Phew. I thought I was outclassed in this forum.
I believe because of their youthful appearance in their pictures, plus the fact that they're much younger than most other forum members. He was joking.
This is correct - Roel is actually 18. We also have Tom, Notmi, CorpCasslebury and Panzer Profile as Moderators, and I think that most of them are older than Roel & I.
Corpcasselbury is in his forties (44-ish, I'm not sure), and Panzerprofile is 19. Majorwoody, where did you get the idea that we were so young? :-?
For what it's worth, I'm a couple weeks shy of 45. However, I would submit that chronological age is not as important here as acting like an adult! Just remember, age and treachery will overcome youth and enthusiasm every day of the week! Remember the old joke: The young bull turns to the old bull, and says "Let's run down the hill, and jump us a couple of those cows down there." The old bull turns to him and replies, "Let's walk down, and get them all!" As I totter off to finish getting ready for work...
This sounds like a fun game. Who wants to have their age guessed next? Okey I guess I'll go, How old you guys think I am? By the way why is this in non wwii history and not in members lounge?
I'm 17... Age does not matter to me, behaviour does. Some of our "younger" members are the best behaved.
Of the regular posters Merlin I believe is our most senior member, IIRC Dave used to be our youngest, though I'm not too sure with some of our newer intake.
