AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT OBAMA
    By Lou Pritchett

    Dear President Obama:

You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truly scare me.

You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.

You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support.

You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.

You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.

You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus don't understand it at its core.

You scare me because you lack humility and 'class', always blaming others.

You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned yourself with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail.

You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the 'blame America' crowd and deliver this message abroad.

You scare me because you want to change America to a European style country where the government sector dominates instead of the private sector.

You scare me because you want to replace our health care system with a government controlled one.

You scare me because you prefer 'wind mills' to responsibly capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves.

You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose that lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of living in the world.

You scare me because you have begun to use 'extortion' tactics against certain banks and corporations.

You scare me because your own political party shrinks from challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.

You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider opposing points of view from intelligent people.

You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both omnipotent and omniscient.

You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything you do.

You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the Limbaughs, Hannitys, O'Relllys and Becks who offer opposing, conservative points of view.

You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing.

Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

    Lou Pritchett

Note: Lou Pritchett is a former vice president of Procter & Gamble whose career at that company spanned 36 years before his retirement in 1989, and he is the author of the 1995 business book, Stop Paddling & Start Rocking the Boat.

Mr. Pritchett confirmed that he was indeed the author of the much-circulated "open letter." “I did write the 'you scare me' letter. I sent it to the NY Times but they never acknowledged or published it. However, it hit the internet and according to the ‘experts’ has had over 500,000 hits.

Interesting and more so because of who the author is.

Well, it turns out that even Chuck Norris is scared of BO too!

"Now let me add a few of my own fears to yours.
    President Obama:

You scare me because so many amazing corporate and American leaders like Lou Pritchett say things about you like: 'You scare me.'"

You scare me because, after you initiate more government borrowing and bailouts than all presidents combined, you require Congress to follow a system that is "pay-as-you-go."

You scare me because you really do believe that going into massive amounts of debt can remedy our economy in the long run.

You scare me because you repeatedly still play the blame game with the Bush administration but never blame the Clinton administration, even though it was responsible for the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac subprime fiasco via the proliferation of loans to low income unqualified borrowers.

You scare me because you buy and run banking, automobile and soon health industries with taxpayers' money but refuse to call it socialism.

You scare me because your actions don't reflect the federal governmental constraints and fiscal prudent principles of our Founding Fathers and Constitution.

You scare me because you promise to lead from the center but drive hard and fast to the Left.

You scare me because you claim to be a fighter for minorities and constitutional promises of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, yet what greater minority can be defended than those in the womb, against whom you have already enacted more pro-abortion-related laws than anyone since Roe v. Wade?

You promise to defend the U.S. against all potential enemies, yet you pacify those who harbor terrorists, fight for the rights of combative detainees, and enable the enemies of Israel.

You scare me because you deny America's Judeo-Christian heritage before other countries of the world, espousing "the promise of a secular nation" during an age in which religious revisionism is already on the rise. (Thank God for Rep. Randy Forbes, R-Va., and others, who are even now trying to preserve America's religious history by proposing the passage of the Spiritual Heritage Bill 397 – call or write your representative today to support it).

You scare me because your media team (including the mainstream media) will seek to label as radical, quarantine socially or in some way penalize any opposing conservative voices (like conservative talk-show hosts, news agencies, columnists or fellow actors like Jon Voight).

You scare me because, as we've all watched over your first 100 days in office, you can get away with all these things mentioned above, and the mainstream media and most of the public will continue to hail you as king.

(or even God in the case of one columnist! - JR)

You scare me because your media team will not address or diminish in any way your deification before the world, epitomized by the editor of Newsweek, who was on MSNBC's Chris Matthews' show and recently stated, "I mean, in a way Obama's standing above the country, above the world. He's sort of God." (How much scarier can it get than representative statements like that in a republic that once stood for equity among political powers and a government "by the people and for the people"?)
America, it's time to awaken from your slumber and quit looking to the government for answers, and start looking to real reputable sources. I recommend starting with Lou Pritchett's 1995 business book, "Stop Paddling & Start Rocking the Boat.""

He is scared just because Barack Obama is not a conservative Republican with ideas identycal to his own...

This, for example, is one of the most idiotic things I've read lately... What is history, travelling, universal literature, Internet, religion, science for then? It's called culture, a very human thing very good at broadening human horizons and experiences...

For the first time ever, the so-called 'Leader of the Free World' actually understand what a 'third world' country is (and an Islamic one!). Such hindsight is priceless!

Yes, if only his father and mother had remained in Kenya he could be President of a 3rd world country.

Just be glad you will not have to pay the tax increases coming from his "policies"

BO is leading America down the drain financially and militarily ( and dragging the rest of the Western economies down with him) BO's depression will make the 30's look like a picnic. And he be leading a new 3rd world country ... Amerika

Do you even listen to yourself? Bo's depression? Did he caused the depression? I don't advocate that he's a saint but your demonizing him too much.

Yes, I got the rant... I'm not an Obama fan either. But your point regarding my post is...?

By the way. Obama spent 4 years in Indonesia, not Kenya.

He was born in Hawaii. And, except for four years which he spent in Indonesia, he has lived in the USA his whole life.

Seems Mr. Pritchett is so scared and ideologically prejudiced to have actually read Wikipedia's biography of Barack Obama and finding this little detail, which, obviously, deprives the man of all Americanhood...

Well, people have tried to find out many details of the Resident BO' life, but even his Columbia thesis is missing. As well as his original birth certificate.

Why is BO defending his Certificate of Life Birth from HI with loads of lawyers? The document means that an original birth certificate was presented to HI supposedly. Why hasn't he released the original document??? Because it might reveal his true birth place....

BO in short is very much an unknown even in America until after his election: then his true colors have been showing ever so dazzlingly (basically red).

BTW, if Europeans are so enamored of BO, I invite all of you to please elect him as your leader. He is a much more suitable match to you than America. Of course, Cuba, Valenzuela, Cuba, or Nicaragua might want him first. So act fast.:)

I post articles which are published on the web about the Resident BO. This is the Stump...you dont have to read them or my comments. Frankly, I don't feel I do enough to warn America what kind of President and rubber stamp Congress we really have!

He has been elected-in America. Thus you are 'a loser' in the respect that your opinion of his ability is the losing opinion.. ...............
You have at least 4 years in which to get over it. Apart from these outbursts there isn't really much the right whingers can do about it is there?

Yes of course there is. Tell US Citizens what mr BO is really up to and what his devastating financial and military policies are doing to this country. It's called "free speech" here in the US. We don't have to bow or curtsy to him.

I might have been on the wrong side of the American Idol Presidential election, but the USA is the ultimate loser.

BTW, how is "free speech" in the uk just now?

Fine, keep up the good work.

Fine since the Bush lap-dog Blair had to resign.
    Is there something I missed?

Very well said especially mainly Pete, Ike and Texson. Well said Bros. I am beginning to wonder at how much our Country can take if it has to go through FOUR-and hopefully no more-years of going down a disastrious path as it's now spirling down at increasing spped.

It's been the same since November. I don't agree with a lot of this bull that Obama has done...but I gotta tell you...McCain scared me a lot more. You need to stop reading Anne Coulter, the Limbaughs, Hannitys, O'Relllys and Becks because guess what? Agenda. A word you should get to know. We are long years past a time when anyone in politics was right, or even trusted. I hate this subject on this forum. I don't care what your political thoughts are, because they aren't mine. And I hate that there is a forum that allows people to try and shove crap down other peoples throats.

Of course they have an agenda, why would they not? The agenda they have is to promote the things they believe in. If they have an agenda (which I don't contest), then do Olbermann and Mathews not?

Understand that none of these persons call themselves newscasters. They are on TV to offer opinion, and as such I would expect them to have an agenda. It is when a newscaster (such as Dan Rather) injects his agenda into the reporting of news that we should be concerned. But even then, opinion is hard to keep out of straight news. Wording, selection of stories to be covered, choice of whom to talk to all are reflective of the newsman's beliefs to some extent.
