I just saw it over the weekend. A newer trailer has additional footage of dogfighting. Because it happened too fast and I was distracted by something else, I couldn't see if it was the English Channel or Pacific shots. Anyone else see this one yet?

Also, as a very interesting side note, I've heard that the film will use genuine fully restored ME-109s (as opposed to the horrible Spanish variants that have so commonly been used in movies over the years). This is certainly a breath of fresh air.

Yea i saw the new trailer on the history channel. Most of the shots appear to be from "pacific" scenes. But i sware i saw i quick snippit of an HE-111 blowing up. So you have to assume that was from the battle of britian scene. I heard the pearl harbor scene is about 40 minutes long...and that it is 70 min into the movie. lol so i guess the battle for britian stuff is before that...I 'M SIKED!!!!! A week from this friday...EVERYONE GO SEE IT!!!! :D

There is a apparently a lot in the film about the American Eagle squadrons who served in the Battle of Britain and beyond. Pearl Harbor isn't just about the bombing of Oahu, but a story about American people involved in the early stages of the war. Damn I can't wait to see it!!!!

Recently at Barnes and Nobles bookstore, they had a nice display setup that had several books and videos on PH. They also had a hardbound book about the making of the movie--it DO look good.

    I can't wait to see it at Tinseltown--this movie is going to be awsome! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I bought that book, it was $35, but it was absolutely worth it! It had some preview info, and historical stuff too. Pick it up while they last.

Forgot to mention. Did you know that Jon Voigt is playing the roll of F.D.R.? He looks good as the President. As he is one of my favorite actors-I can't wait to see this film.

Ever since I first saw him in The Odessa File, I came to like his acting style. Does anyone here know what othermovies he has done since then? Inquiring minds wanna know-bitte...
