Title's self-explanatory. I've recently read Is Paris Burning? and absolutely loved it. After that I have read De Gaulle, Free France, and the Allies, and I'm currently reading France: The Dark Years 1940-1944. However, none of those books really touched on the Resistance as much as I wanted them to. I was going to read France Under the Germans, but that seems to touch more on collaboration and Vichy than Resistance. So, are there any good books on the Resistance, whether its personal narrative or general history?
if you speak French I have many great titels to suggest. -De a Resistance à la Liberation by Dive . This is about the Chartres area. -le temps des Maquis by Canaud.
