Hi Hatch, I finally found out that it did come with the making of documentary when I bought my DVD. I liked it because they talked and showed much of the scenery around Werfen, Austria. This place is a very beautiful place.

Hi Bratwurst, how long is the Documentary on it? Mine is about 15 or so minutes and I know the Making Of documentary is almost 1 hr in length.

The only other newer acquisition I have with a Making Of Doc, is 1 hr long with about 4 hrs of other extras included. This came with the movie: Adventures of Robin Hood.

I think mine is about that long too, does it have that great 60s line in it? : "The cast were driven to extreme limits of endurance...even the women"

    How times have changed eh?

    Hey Chris, 2 things:

    1) Wasn't is strange to see the whole of the Schloss Adler armed with Mp40s and nothing else,(other than the one MG34 in the middle of the flm)? I saw no Kar98s, G-43s or any other kind of small arms!

    2) A friend of mine Kurt was in the forums the other day and noticed your name, he asks : "Are you an Author by any chance?" I assume he means a Military Books Author

    Attention !

Suspects have been heard criticizing the weaponry used by the forces of the Reich in the Movie.

Anyone found making such comments will be reported to me and dealt with in the harshest manner !

I'm glad you came Major, we've just uncovered a plot to assasinate the Fuhrer!

You see Major, the plot is simple. The British have, under the guise of a movie company, rid Germany of all Machine pistols and left her defenceless and unable to guard the Furher.

In my pocket are the names of the conspirators! Mr Schmeisser, Mrs Schmeisser, and the entire Schmeissing family.

    Me?

Actually, I saw some of the guards at gates with rifles. Look just after the snowplow/bus busted out of its garage and when they were passing some German sentrys. They had rifles and when the first guards were shot by Clint and the blonde, they were carrying Mausers.

I think there were a few other scenes showing rifles but, i'd have to make a note of them next time I watch WED.

The men in the town are rifle-equipped ; maybe they're too heavy for the cable-car ride to the Schloss ;)
