    "More replacements were piling onto Anzio's shores. Private Murray Levine, one such newbie in the 45th's 157th Infantry Regiment, nervously reported to his assigned unit, Company G. 'I jokingly went over to the lieutenant and I said, "You know, my eyes aren't too good." 'He said, "Don't worry about it. We'll put you up front, and you'll see everything." 'I thought that was funny as hell. We all laughed. "We'll put you up front," he says. 'Oh, good - I was worried.'"

    ..can anyone link a map of the German and American Ranger troop/mg/tank positions at Cisterna?

    Use Google. try Cisterna rangers maps. Dad was in 1 C at the time but left for some RnR after dropping the rest of the Boys off at the beach.
