Army Air Corps ID thoughts???

Hello all! First post here. I’m making my first attempt at researching and expect to be quite active as I now have time to be able to do this.

I just recently picked up two uniforms. Both stamped/written in with the same laundry number. However, both have two separate initials. Searching by laundry number has proven ineffective. Has anyone had luck elsewhere doing a search with a laundry number?

KL9490 is what it stamped and written in both uniforms.
