This famous picture of a crowd at a German shipyard in 1936 at the launch of the Horst Wesel was recently posted on facebook-
August Landmesser - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The solitary figure refusing to give the Nazi salute is a man called August Landmesser, who had formerly been a Party member until expelled for fathering a child by a Jewish woman. He was convicted onf Rassenschande (dishonouring the Aryan blood purity) and jailed for two and a half years. His wife was sent to a concentration camp where she later died.
When he was released in 1941, he was sent to hard labour in a munitions factory, before being sent to a penal battalion and presumably killed on the Eastern Front early in 1944.

Look at the two evil looking trolls behind him. Looks as though they are talking trash and getting ready to report him to the authorities asap. Sad behavior.

    Thanks for posting this, Gordon.
