    Hello,

I am trying to do some family research regarding my late uncle who served in the Australian Army in WW2. He was a Warrant Officer (WO2) in 35 Field Security Section, Intelligence Corps. I have been trying to discover some basic history of this unit from this and other websites, but have come to a complete dead end. So can anyone tell me:

-- what theatres of operations did 35 Field Section Section serve in?
-- what were the basic duties and responsibilities of 35 Field Section Section?

Or could you please point me to good reference sites or material regarding this unit.

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks Lou, but I had already searched that thread and have not found anything relevant (except for a general description of the Corps' responsibilities). The main information I am trying to locate is:
-- In regards to the Corps' organisation structure, where does the 35 Field Security Section reside?
-- where were 35 FLD SEC theatres of operations, and were they attached to regular army units for active intelligence gathering?
