    Do our $35bn frigates have any chance?

    We are also sinking 7 billion into anti submarine drones...the only subs we want in our waters are ours! - 12 French Shortfin Barracuda submarines.

    "As island nations, Britain and Australia have largely maintained their anti-submarine capabilities where others (including the United States) have let them fall by the wayside."

    You mean our subs aren't welcome there anymore? I understand there was some friction in the immediate post war years but ....
