    What unit did he serve in? He only mentions Patton's III Army. He does identify his regimental colonel, Douglas Moore.

    He mentions Colliers as a division CO. That must be 2nd Armored. But wasn't Sidney Hines the CO of the 41st Infantry?

    I did some googling with no success. It's mildly surprising it's not readily available.

    A short bio on Pengion/Random House stated "he was part of the Army Specialized Training Program", but no specific unit is listed.

    I hate when the author neglects those details. It makes it harder to put into context their experience or observations.
