rather than in some other area, since it is current events actually. The B-17 Sentimental Journey is going to be back here in Billings this Monday (June 8th), and I have every intention of going up for a quick tour. I took a ride in The Aluminium Overcast a few years ago, but I cannot justify the $450 outlay this time around. So I'll just do the walk around and through tour. :D:D:D

    Thanks for posting this, Clint.

I'm going to move the thread and change the title, so that B-17 will be in the title so that people might be able to find it.

    Here is her tour schedule.

Thanks for putting it in the proper spot, since I live almost directly under the Logan International airport, I'll be able to go up there at some time during the stop here. I certainly will take my camera at the very least. Really screwed up the last time when The Aluminium Overcast was in town. I took my camera, but the battery was crapped out, after I started taking outside shots and I set it down and forgot the stinker when I went for the "ride". So no pics of the flight. Then I got even dumber and walked away without my camera. Had to buy another nicer unit to replace it.

I first had decided I couldn't afford the ride that year, but each day when they took off they flew right over my house, and I couldn't resist all that glorious noise. I've got another CT scan on the 9th, and since I will be in the "area" for that, I'll just go up the hill and look her over and take pics (I hope).
