A lot of members on this forum are from the USA. I know that one of the main sports in the USA is baseball. In the Netherlands baseball is not that populars but I love the game. The unfiforms are also great. Not as great as a feldgrau combat tunic but.. Are their any baseball fans/players on this forum? What teams do you like? I like Florida Marlins, New York Mets and Oakland Atlethics. I play myself baseball in the Netherlands in a team called Mets.
I played Rounders as a little kid, but I view baseball like I view Cricket. Watching paint dry is more fun
I agree. Playing was fun, but watching it? Id rather be writing an essay on how to write essays...in swahili.
I like baseball-but not playing it or watching it. If it was a US Major League game yes I could watch it, but i hate playing it... I like the Cleveland Indians, Colorado Rockies and the Florida Marlins...
Well, I like to watch it. And play it, but Friedrich is the most awkward and stupid person for sports! I cannot even handle a ball! Actually, the day I made the lead turn into gold then that day Friedrich would be able to practise a sport decently!
I did like it when that little kid ran up the pitch the other day, right in the path of those 3 burly guys.... Saw it about 20 times on CNN. But otherwise, Nope, don't get thrilled by baseball....NFL on the other hand...
The San Francisco Giants.......the wienies ! they could have had the world series but they played like crap ! I use to love to watch them play at candlestick when I lived as a kid in Modesto. We would see two-three games a summer and a hot dog from the steamers bin was something to look forward too, not like the cheap piece of cardboard that is served out today. I'm more into Füssball now. E
Shame on you all!!!!! The New York Yankees?! The only good thing about them is Alfonso Soriano! Jason Giambi should've stayed with Oakland! That's where he belongs! The Florida Marlins?! I've got to words for you, they suck! New York Mets?! Ha!, the pitchers couldn't hit the broad side of a barn! The hitters probably couldn't either! The only good thing about them is Mike Piazza. Hey, got some spare weed?! Colorado Rockies?! Puh-leaze. The reason some of these hitters are any good is because of the altitude. They need some pitchers, not some belly itchers. The only good things about them are Larry Walker and Todd Helton. And atleast these guys are baseball fans. Some of you guys don't even like baseball. I love baseball. Where would the grenade be without baseball? I don't just love baseball, I thouroughly love baseball. Not just playing baseball. Watching baseball too. I hit about 1 triple, 4 doubles, a lot of hits, 5 RBI's in the last 6 games of the season, (3 of them game winning RBI's), but I also had a lot of strikeouts. I enjoy playing just about every position except for pitcher, catcher, and shortstop. As for me, my favorite team is the Seattle Mariners. They only had the best regular season record in the history of the MLB last year. You know made to about 3 Championship series in the pst 4 years. Had 8 All-Stars last year..... One of the reasons I enjoy going to a game is those hot dogs!
