Been looking on info of my grandfather

    I found a paper (certificate) that says "Anthony Galier has satisfactorily completed instructor training and is now qualified to teach" for motorcycle mechanics. This was at fort knox
    No I do not have earlier address, that's it. Earlier ones were probably lost/destroyed over time. I believe he did serve prior to Pearl Harbor, but no letters/addresses before that time. Seems the earliest I have was '44.

    His discharge papers state he entered service in June of '41.
    They match that document

    I'm having trouble understanding the second link

    Ah I see. It seems though he mostly carried a Garand, as that is the only thing seen in pictures when he has a weapon. I know from letters at one time he was a mortar man, when he switched companies.
