    Good day everyone

I am a 37 year old man from Belgium, living in the Flemish part of the country near several battlefields like Flanders Fields, Verdun, Somme (WW1), Normandy, Bastogne, Market Garden, Hürtgenwald.... (WW2).

The history of WW1 and WW2 has become a passion for me. I have adopted 14 American war graves and 1 British war grave in Belgium, France and the Netherlands.

I registered to search for more information concerning soldiers, divisions, regiments, battles etcetera.

Nice to meet you all and let's hope I find what I'm looking for.

    Best regards
    Nick

Welcome to the Forums, Nick. I am not able to get your website link to work. Maybe the URL is not correct?

Yes indeed. In my little town we commemorate the crash of a Lancaster with mostly Australian crew members. Only the pilot survived, he visited us in 2012 and died only last month. Here you can read about it and the horrible event (follow the 'Linkhout' link in the menu): War Visitors Linkhout

A very hearty welcome Nick. Thank you so much for your devotion to all these heroes.
I know a man who's brother is buried at Henri-Chapelle. When he discovered his brother's grave had been adopted and was being cared it ment so much to him. Your efforts are truly appreciated.

Hello Buten42, thanks for your kind words. Do you know the name of the man buried at Henri-Chapelle?
    Best regards
