    Thanks buddies,

You know it's just a small return . My grand father in law who is still alive ( 93 years old ) was in the Belgium Infantry on May 1940 . and spent 5 years at Stalag 17B . He was liberated by the US Army and flew in a B17 for is come back home .
I will do my best for the forum .

    Domi

Dominique, I would adopt you if I could! That lovely, poignant video truly introduces the young man I've gotten to know through emails. You will fit in perfectly with these good people.

For those who may not know the story, I'm a new member who has received amazing help in your forum. Domi and I email--we met when he posted a beautiful tribute on a memorial page for my father who was KIA in March 1945 and buried in Belgium.

When I mentioned Domi in a thread, Biak asked me to invite him to join your forum. This young man is extremely modest. The amount of help and comfort he has given to relatives of American soldiers is indescribable, and he will be a wonderful asset to your group.

Domi, I'm so proud that you joined this forum! And see? No problems at all with your English. ;)

NOTE: For anyone who might be a bit nervous about the heart in my first line....
Sadly I could only adopt Dominique as a son. :bleah:
But if I were 25 years younger and he didn't have a cute wife in Belgium....
    ;)

    I'm touched Judy !!! really .

I'm maybe modest but I'm not alone ... It's very difficult to understand if you never come in France, Holland and Belgium during WW2 ceremony . You have a so many people who are dedicating by the WW2 . We have all our way to keep alive this part of our mutual story . Some friends of mine built monuments or Help veterans and family during their trip , you have also the grave adoption (I have adopted 4 US graves ) .

My Sister is American by Wedding but now I have a new step family ... and it's an honor for me .

    God Bless America

Welcome! Your English is fine. My great uncle was in the 90th and was KIA Aug 20th 1944. He's buried somewhere in France and I would love to take a trip to visit his resting place and visit all the WWII sites in the area.

Welcome, Domi. A very beautiful video. It's very honorable of you to adopt the four graves. Thank you for your commitment to these fallen servicemen. Hopefully, you will share any information you discover about these men.

Krystal, I know very well the 90th , I'm in contact with the 90th historian , and two of my best WW2 veterans's friends were in the 90th . Every year I go to Normandy at the 90th monuments .

Thanks to all for your message .

I can explain my feeling when I'm with a Vet ... Two last month I was with Mr Ray Fary from the 82 Abn AA Bn and Mr Gene Garren VN veteran . We were together during a weekend for the 82nd Airborne March . These men are so humble . He give a very good lesson to every one . Some people want to win lotterie ... I win mine every time ...
On October I am going to USA for a WW2 trip ... I'm a little bit nervous ...

Don't be nervous, you will have a wonderful time. I don't travel, or haven't much, but I bet there are many people on here that can tell you all the best places to go. Have fun and please tell us about it when you get home.
