Blazing Angels is a game out for the Wii (Which I have.) And some other game systems. It is a World War 2 Air War game. It has about Every fighter and Bomber involved in the war in it. It FIrst starts with the Eagle Squadrons that fought for Britian, The Desert War, Battle Of London, Etc. Then you get transfered to The Pacific Theather in Fight In Pearl Harbor, Midway, Etc, Then You get transfered back to Europe To fight in D day, Paris, And Berlin. I personally love this game. It is great. You use the Wii Controls To Control the plane and it has great sound and graphics. Did anyone else like this game.
Oh, That sucks. I never buy that many games for my computer. I didnt even know it was out for the computer. Do you have to use keys for it?
I got a game that does the same thing. I downloaded it. Its called aces high. I dont understand and it and it crashes on me so dont feel alone.
I have both Blazing Angels I and II on X-Box 360, love the games. Also i have Red Ant's Battle of Britain vI on PC and use the keyboard as controls, again i love this game. v.R
Try the Tech Support forum for Aces High. You may find your fix by reading there, or else post with the relevant details. I recommend persisting with Aces High... it's a great, great game, by far the best of the multiplayer WWII air combat sims for Windows. There's a huge learning curve, and you will be shot down over and over and over while you learn, but it's truly amazing and highly addictive.
Blazing Angels is a good game? I read the review on gamespot and they only rated it a 6.2. They seemed the think the graphics weren't to good. Now I've got contradicting information. Can someone confirm what kingthreehead http://www.gamespot.com/wii/sim/wor...t=convert&om_clk=gssummary&tag=summary;review
BA2 (as i call it) is a amazing game!! Dont trust the critics. The only way to juge a game is to play it yourself. What I enjoy most about the second game is the wide varieties of aircraifts available. Noy only does it have clasic planes like the Spitfire, Bf 109 and others, it also includes planes that are from after the war. A great example is the de Haviland Vampire. Flies like a charm and also has a beautiful sound. I play it on my X Box 360 and there are no problems with lag or other. Personally, I recomend you try it.
I like BA2 on the xbox, apart from the odd silly mission, like giving close air support to an SOE operative on the ground in Paris while flying a German plane, which ends in landing on the Champs Elysees to take her aboard and fly her home...
Ok yes its true that the dH Vampire's first flight was on september 20, 1943 but the fact of the matter is it only joined RAF squadrons in 1946. Thus making it too late for the war and therefore, not technically a world war 2 aircraft even if it was designed during the war.
It is true to say it never joined sqn service, but its a bit much to say it wasnt a ww2 aircraft, designed and flew during the war 20/9/1943 is a long time before the end of ww2...heck its a long time before D Day.
Ok ok, i jumped the gun on that one!!! But i'm just saying that it is historically inacurate to have the Vampire in the game. As well there is also the Gotha 229 and the Yak 15 in the game. I was just saying that BA2 is historically inacurate. But really fun!
IL-2 Sturmovik eh? (shows im canadian dosent it?) Hmm with a name like that it must be from a Russian's point of view i'm sure!
