Boko Haram is deadlier than ISIS, but nobody cares because they kill Africans.

    Fascinating.
And such crisp & florid use of the language.
Send more hashtags, likes & Gangsta bitches. That'll sort things.

Watch your language, Ben. We don't take kindly to such use. If it continues, I'll be forced to hide your responses and possibly ban you.

    Fair enough.
The point is though, mate. Why are you here?
Have you been banned from as many forums as you say.
Is it possible there's a reason for that...

I mean, the area is set up to cope with discussion of such things, but you choose to clip a couple of retarded posts from, what? Instagram? Posts from what seems to be a reality TV 'celeb'... (And I was under the impression you liked music.)

    It's mostly grown-ups here...
We may fight and bicker, but we also at least try to communicate in not-quite-full-retard manner.
    Mostly...

The French care and fight them practically alone in Mali (they took back the country ) , Centrafique (they occupy part of the country) , Niger (they are building bases in the desert to stop the Lybia routes) , the Ivory Coast (they support the local governement with military troops ) etc.... Quite a few soldiers have died during these operations but it is true not many talk about it.

Boko Haram attacks western hotel resorts when they get a chance. Also companies and much more and many westerners fell under their attacks (tourists, charity workers, volunteers etc...).

Watch it Ben , by using such language you won't last long here I'm afraid. . One warning point for your poetry.

Ben, clearly tact isn't your strong suit. If you are going to post the content you do I expect you to act like an adult. I'm not even talking about your use of curse words, I'm referring to your difficulty in accepting someone posting a sentiment mildly counter to your sensibilities and then you throwing your toys as a response.

From here on out I suggest you man up. If not I have other options for you, but not of them involve your continued membership here.

Boko is a product of their own environment. Not our place to decry their religious proclivities over there.
Let Africa cope with it, why should the West be concerned- there are enough problems to deal with here already.

Many nations have responded to the Boko Haram threat. Just because it does not make the "pop news", does not mean that it is not happening.

I'm not convinced that Boko Haram is more dangerous than Daesh. Many powerful individuals in and across the Gulf States sympathize and fund the Sunni extremists. Does Boko Haram receive such support?

Also Daesh has far more influence over a larger population and is numerically larger.

Just a small tip...using swearing and emotion turns people off your argument...no matter who you are or what you are talking about...a human thing.

I'm sorry to hear that Skipper. Condolences to the families of these brave men.

Are there many regular French troops fighting in Africa? From what I have stumbled upon spoke mostly of the Foreign Legionaires....

In fact the French have soldiers in almost every African country south of the Daesh front lines in North Africa (the imense Sahara which is vey hard to control) . They got heavily involved in Mali and kicked the Islamists out , then Centrafrique. Daesh an d Boko Haram are trying to connect and smuggle weapons and the French are doing their best to find their caches and depots + sport pick-up trucks with insurgeants before they take them out. They have a UN mandate and have African allies (Tchad, Cameroon etcc.)

Djibouti is just one base. There are many others.

Not foreign Legion. The Legion soldiers have white Kepis. These guys were from the 511th transport (train) régiment at Auxonne (see their pin under their name label)

Until brutality, dictatorships and tribalism are ousted from African nations, there is nothing that 'Western' nations can do. Boko-haram is just another totalitarian regime but under the auspices of religious zeal. No matter what money, peace- keeping forces and humanitarian aid is thrown at them - it is not going to change in the near future. Having lived in Africa, I feel heart sore for the people and the very fact that the likes of Mugabe is still in power sickens me. I do, however resent that young men of the peace keeping forces are dying in vain.
