British Vehicle markings

    I am doing some 1/6 scale modeling, and need information on how British Army wheeled vehicles were marked, if at all. Specifically, bumper numbers, unit designations, etc. I am quite familiar with IS and German markings, but I must confess I am at a loss when it comes to out "cousins" in the UK. Thanks.

    Dear Ed: If I recall correctly, I think Osprey Men-At-Arms series on WW2, has a book with British markings. If you live near a Barnes and Noble bookstore, they usually have many Osprey books on hand.

    Thank you. I should have thought of that myself, having a small (?) library of Osprey books. I wioll check that out.
