As some of you may know I sent for my Grandfather Military records, Just waiting patiently for them to arrive. To prove death I got a copy of his obit from the local library. In the obit it says he was awarded a Bronze Star. I posted that update here and at the sister site ww2talk. Someone responded asking about seeing the citation to go with the bronze star. I had no idea such a thing existed. So after reading that post I searched Google and found a few posted. My question is, How can I obtain the citation for my Grandfathers Bronze Star? Do I use the same site I used to request his Report of Separation?
