The early UK tanks (Matildas, A9/A10/A13 cruisers had 2-pounder (40mm L/52) guns. They all had close support versions equipped with 3.7" (94mm) L/15 howitzers. These close support tanks were generally in the Squadron (i.e., company) and Regimental (i.e., battalion) HQ troops and provided HE fire in support of the gun armed tanks.

The next generation of cruisers (Covenenters and 2-pounder Crusaders) had close support variants with 3" (76mm) gun-howitzers. I have not been able to find the calibre length of these weapons.

The 75mm tanks (Cromwells and Churchills) had close support variant with 95mm 32-pounders. Again, I have not been able to find the calibre lengths of these weapons.

I would appreciate any information on the lengths of these weapons.

    The 95mm guns were L22

The early cruiser CS tanks carried a 3.7innc howitzer, while later models carried a 3inch howitzer.
Can't find the length but will continue to look
