Well...having watched the trailer I can understand the issue some are having. It does indeed look rather comical I always take into account that a trailer is an advertisement, but the reveal was mostly actual game play. In fact it looked like the opening sequence in Battlefield 1 where you were jostled around in a rather uncoordinated sequence of events. Hopefully that is what it was and the actual game play is in the style of B1's vignettes. I am crossing my fingers that we don't have the continuation of Brothers in Arms: Furious 4.

If Battlefield doesn't want to take the route Call of Duty is going on, which is massive decrease in the fan base and loss of credibility, then they need to listen to their fanbase. It sounds so simple, but many game companies don't do it. Battlefield fans asked for a more or less accurate depiction of WW2, and that's not what they're getting with this game, so Dice better hope Battlefield V has the best gameplay of any FPS in the last 10 years to save the franchise and please consumers once more.

I am curious as I do not really follow gaming news as much as I used to. Why has Call of Duty lost all credibility?

It all goes back to listening to the fan base for Call of Duty. Ever since Call of Duty Ghosts, the franchise has been in decline, I couldn't tell you all the reasons why, but I know some of the major ones.
    1. Changing storylines- Call of Duty's most popular game mode besides online multiplayer is Campaign, which has somehow grown either too ridiculous or different from the main storyline
    2. The developers are running out of ideas- With the release of Advanced Warfare and Infinite war a few years back, it was evident that Call of Duty was either running out of ideas for new games, or they were making the Call of Duty universe the way they wanted to, not the consumers.
    3. Political correctness- With Call of Duty WW2, COD fans saw for the first time that the game was changing just to please the minority, seeing a black woman as a Nazi ruined many peoples immersive experience, and others went as far as to say COD would have been better off not making another WW2 themed title because of this.

When was there an African American woman in COD WWII? Multiplayer or Campaign?

Multiplayer, while Multiplayer has long been understood as not historical, and intentionally different from the campaign so that there wouldn't be confusion, Multiplayer is the only other part of Call of Duty you can participate in besides the Campaign, so people still want a semi-immersive or semi-accurate game.

Thanks for the clarification. I tend to stick to the campaigns but play multiplayer from time to time. Never really noticed. I hear the creators of the next version of COD, regardless of conflict, will forgo the campaign altogether. IMHO that's a huge mistake.

A huge mistake indeed. The whole "fortnite" craze is going to drop off eventually, so Call of Duty better hope there are enough fortnite fans around to even keep the game afloat.

That's an awesome idea! I guess this game should be a shooter type as it is related to World War I. And it would be great to have a possibility to play it on Xbox because I and my colleagues from EssaysWorld like playing games together.

Wow. Like 400,000 dead Allied and axis soldiers dead in a week on both sides due to artillery fire. And maxim gun fire. I must be missing something here chaps. I am sorry but is it what you want from your war. The Germans got some 40,000 dead in 1940 and thought it was good. I think 5 dead is good. I must be Weird. Right?
