A letter to the Washington Post

    Dear Sir,

I recently read with interest your article on the discovery of lost tombs in Egypt, as a known archaeologist myself I could not help noticing a small mistake you made with reference to the good Dr. Jones, you gave his initial as I. He is in fact Dr. Henry Jones Jr. (named for his father, Dr. Henry Jones).

    Many thanks for your attention,

    Professor Archibald Heatherington Nastyface-Smith-Smith-Smith-Smythe-Smith-etc

    Dear Sir,

In response to your recent letter, we have taken onboard your notification but wish to inform you that our reporter expressed the wishes of the Doctor concerned, who wishes to be known by his 'nickname', Indiana. His father as you know is also engaged on a 'dig' somewhere in Nepal.

Thank you for taking the time to write,

    Hugh D. Ickus (Sub-editor)
