Hello fellow collectors and history interested!

My name is Marco and Im collecting german Militaria since more than 10 years now.
I have a really nice collection of Uniforms, medals, helmets and other gear so far.
Now I want to make something new and interesting for myself!

Actually I am researching the end of the war in my lower bavarian region and so I thought it could be cool to build up an US-Army Mannequin with gear and equiptment which they wear near Passau in 1945.

During my research I found out that following US-American units were moving around my area:

    13th Tank Division
65th Infantry Division under Stanley Reinhardt
808th Tank destroyer Bataillon under Robert McDonald
259th Inftantry Regiment under Julian George
    260th Infantry Regiment

SPECIALLY parts of the 65. Infantry division attacked my City. All those details I got from a Youtube Video which was uploaded on youtube some years ago. The guy from the video also droped this units:

Company A of the 260th IR
Company B and E of the 261th IR
Company C of the 259th IR

Like you may be noticed, my english is not really good but I hope you can understand what I write. And Im 100% sure that I wrote some of the names/units above really false, sry for this! I dont want to make you mad, its just my bad english.

    1. So my first question is, if you may be can approve the troop-informations of this video in any way?

    2. My second question is, if someone maybe could give me little list or show me what the common gear of
such a soldier in the lower bavarian region.

I already read something about Jackets M43 and the M41 Jacket was more common in the western theatre.
Please notice that I really have NO clue about US Militaria.

    3. Can U show me maybe some arm patches of this companys which I listed up?
Did they wear these patches anyway on the filed? Would it make sense to search such a Jacket with a matching patch?

    4. Which budget would I need to build up for such a mannequin (without weapon) I calculated 1 000 Euros...

I really really would appreciate your help guys!

    Thank you in advance!
