Maybe literally. I think it would be a good idea to locate the wife, if they can.

According to the local news his wife moved to Panama after cashing his life insurance.
There are some tabloidish claims that she was seen there with a man that looked a lot like her lost husband.

His wife has given the game away. He faked his own death so his wife could claim the insurance money. Six weeks ago is wife suddenly sold her house and disappeared. Turns out they've both been living in Panama. The police got a tip off and started investigating him some months ago, which is why he turned up with no memory.

As a little added twist, the rest of their extended family, including their sons were apparently unaware of what had happened. The sons are understandably more than a little miffed that their dad's been alive all this time!

Well, the general public thinks so. Its such an odd story. From what his dad is saying he didnt really think he was dead. he found it odd that they found a canoe, but not a body. He said it didnt seem right
