    There must not be too many history nuts in the Army (or at least that unit) today. The Sherman shown is a VVS model with 19" chevron track not a HVSS 23" centerguide track model. It is also a 105mm Sherman (note the gun and mantle). As for it being an A3, that's not possible to tell without knowing what engine was put in it originally. The A3 had the Ford GAA V 8. But, if it was originally a British lend-lease vehicle it is likely an A2 or A6.
    Be nice to know exactly which one they really had.

    I had already noticed that the gun's calibre seemed way too large to be a 75mm... :rolleyes:
