Thank you Lou and Ray, more and better ones are soon to come ;-)) From the first batch of five: 1) One of two combat photos showing a German unit attacking some Russian position. 2) Army Flak Halftrack guarding some bridge. 3) Army Flak Halftrack on the move somewhere in Russia. 4) Soldier with new awarded medals. 5) 2nd of two Combat photos of Germans assaulting a Russian position.
1) Newly awarded EKIIs to an Army Flak crew. 2) Medics loading wounded onto a truck. Not the shot I wanted but still interesting. 3) Army Flak Troop posing with newly awarded EKII. 4) Nice pic of a Medic which shows some of his equipment off nicely. 5) Tall Flak Troop posing with slung Mauser.

Hi V/ All of these photos are from different auction sheld over from late Nov till just a few days ago. Its hard to say exactly when which perticular pic was up for sale. I restarted buying just about 3-4 days before I moved from Houston to Austin. I will most likely not buy any in Feb with the exception of soem Actors Prints directly from Marshall Thompsons Daughter-Janet-and some from one other dealer. However, I fully inend on getting more pic in Mar-etc. I have to recover a bit financially before I start going for some more tank photos. Great photo BTW ;-)) I did see that one for sale but didn't go for it because im more into Army pics but will go for a few LW when I see something of great interest ;-))
Thanks again Lou. These next five are: 1) Battlefield shot somewhere in Russia. I don't have any specifics on which of these may and may not have writing on the backsides. Have to wiat for them to arrive. 2) An Army Flak Btty in action first of several nighttime shots. 3) Same as above. Part of the same grouping that I saved the majority from being split up. 4) Same as above. More Army Flak in action pics. 5) One of few LW pics I went for. Great shot of 88 crews in action-or preparing for action.
Next set of five: 1) and 2) from the same Army Flak unit-nighttime pics. 3) oops-a repat but thats OK-nice combat shot ;-)) 4) Flak crewman just after recieving his EKII. They are standing behind their vehicle-nicely named: Gerti. 5) An entire Army Flak crew just newly awarded their EKIIs.
Next group of five: 1) Good shot of a Russian Church. I tried for a few other and better shots but??? lost out due to slow comp. 2) This one shows a shell exploding in a German position. This is the best shot of the four I won but-three I didnt get because of an error made by one of Ricks employees. So I SHOULD have had al four listed but only ended up with one-but at least that one pic-was the best one of the batch. 3) Original snapshot of GJ General Julius "Papa" Ringel. ;-)) I think Kai might really enjoy this one ;-)) 4) Destroyed Train photo. This one was taken somewhere in Russia-but the first one I got-was taken somewhere in germany. That pic was posted by either CLint or SKipper. 5) A posed pic of a Squad of men posing somewhere in Russia-Winter. This one would have made for a great postcard or PK press photo.
Next four: 1) Battlefield pic-Germans assaulting a Russian position. 2) Army Flak Crewmen awarded General Assault Badges. 3) Asian-looking Russian Hiwis lugging ammo and supplies for the Germans. You do know that if these were captured or turned over at wars end-back to the Russians-that these Gents would have all been executed. 4) This is the photo of a Generalleutnant and RKT-whom I firmly believe or at least believe that the majority of a chance that this is yet another original pic I have-featuring General Heinz Guderian. If this is he? and this an certainly does resemble Heine-then this photo would hav ebeen taken of him visiting one of his smaller units battlefield HQ-somewhere in Russia and probably circa 1942. This si the photo I was crowing about that Ricks employees dropped the ball on on not even recognizing the officer as a General and RKT at that.
They are some great photo's Carl, thankyou for showing us, they were certainly worth the wait. Thank you LRusso for posting them as well.
Nice collection. certainly does look like Guderian doesn't it. Chin the same. Here's Carl's pic compared to one in Glantz, Barbarossa.
