Not able to find much about Bronson during his WWII service other than know he was a nose gunner in Pacific theatre. Real name was Charles Buchinski.

    From what I heard--he was not a nose-gunner but in fact--drove a truck.

Ill see if I can dig this up but, from what ive read--Charles Bronson never saw action in a war zone. Also, ive heard he was in the Navy-but that has been proven false. What I understand is that he served in the Army in WWII--stationed in Arizona and was a Transportation Truck Driver. However, I cannot at this time prove this info but--that is what I remember reading on some site several months ago. Ill TRY to find the site that posted it--but cant say for sure ill again find this info?

All that aside--Bronson is one of my all-time most favorite actors. :thumb:
