I am in a habit of checking the new arrivals on this site: Everybody please check the site of our newest registered member (at the time of this writing) Gerry Chester, member no#561 or follow this link http://www.ww2forums.com/cgi-bin/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_profile;u=00000561
Very interesting and nicely-produced site ! Good links too ( I must admit to a 'soft-spot' for the much-derided Churchill Tank... )
This is a great site for a fine regiment; I am pleased to say I was able to help them when they were compiling the same thing for WW1. Glad to see it has expanded to WW2. I'm waiting to see your website now, Stevin!
It IS a very nice site! Thought I'd try and give it some extra attention on the forums here when I saw it. My own site? Oeh! Well, I am a complete (graphical) nitwit. Can't seem to get my site looking the way it should. I have bits and pieces online for my own amusement and to see what my virtual antics look like in real life. My pages can be found at www.basher82.nl . Again, mind you, virtual all the pages look different on account of me playing around with it. But it does give a general idea of what I want to do in the future. And it is not ' officially' on line yet...just my own little playground.
He has a very well thought out site. Stevin--I looked at yours and it looks good to me. Perhaps a small suggestion if you dont mind? Do you have a way to have a picture as a background in it? I have a cool one you might be interested in if this is the way you want to go? I have a large foto of an 88 firing. Great detail and shows the crew. ~~~OR~~~ I have an ultra cool pic of a squad of Panzergrenadiers mounting a STUG III--a most excellent detail shot and action shot. And ive others if your interested. Just lemme know
Yes, nice promising site there - keep us all posted on developments. These sites don't build themselves, and it does take a while to get what you want, but it's information people are after - that's the key to a good WW2 site (in my opinion!).
