Winston Churchill was knocked down by a taxi cab in New York in 1936 (I think!). What a difference it would have made if he had been killed, instead of hurt, to the war had Churchill not been war leader. Would it have been possible that without a strong political leader that we would have witnessed a monarchial revival as the King took on Churchill's role?

Don´t know about King´s position but a very probable peace between Nazi Germany and Britain after Dunkerque...If it had not been for Churchill´s strict policy I´m quite sure nothing would have stopped peace being made, I think.

Would the deal have lasted, that´s another story.

Whatever happened, it would have to happen through Parliament. The King could not defy the wishes of Parliament.
Without Churchill, a peace treaty after the Battle of France is the most likely outcome

Probably Chamberlain would have ended the war after Dunkirk and if he wouldn't have done it, than Halifax wouuld have done it.

Correction: Churchill had his accident on December 1931. ;)

But I agree, without his agressive policies and character the British government would have asked for peace.
