I thought Shamir's article was pretty shocking the first time I read it.

Glad to see dopers losing out for a change--bad thing is, that everyone else is losing out too. I.e. their trees and property going up in flames--darn weather patterns. When you want rain--you get sun--when you dont want rain--you get flooded--stupid el nino weather pattern

 

You are so right my friend ! Well the forest service mis-calculated and not the fire storm is over 334,000 acres and growing......the smoke is so bad here it smells like someone's dirty arm pit with white/grey ash to match, especially in the early morn hours.
