    A member of my Grandfathers Regiment, 141 RAC ( Churchill Crocodiles ) who died on March 13th 2009 aged 89. Was also awarded the American Bronze Star Medal.
    After the war he commanded the Armour School at Bovington, Dorset where he played a notable part in the development of the Challenger Tank. Appointed OBE at the end of his tour.
