Columns of enemy transport heading eastwards to escape from the Allied encirclement. These long lines of vehicles became constant targets for Allied aircraft. Just below the centre left of the picture, the transport is negotiating its way around a large crater. The fleeing armour did not have to stick to the roads and tank tracks can be clearly seen cutting across the fields.
