In my Book "Come and See" is one of the most Important films about the second world war ever made, It addresses the consept of total war and the Nazi ideology in the East in one, not from the perspective of the propagandist, of the military historian or the stratagist but from a boy, In this it works very well depositing the viewer right there on the Steppe, with the protagonists , which personally if found a very frigtening expereince . Highly recomend viewing this film , not a date movie though. Best, Jerry
