    The Hiller YH-32 Hornet was a helicopter developed in the early 1950s with a unique design. The helicopter was powered by two ramjet engines mounted on the tips of the rotor blades.

    A flying submarine? The Ushakov LPL was deigned during the 1930s, as a fully submersible seaplane capable of attacking underwater targets using torpedoes.
