    A friend of mine moved to Palmerston City with the intent of wrestling a salty. He's still alive, so no match as yet. He's 6' 9" and about 350 lbs., so it wouldn't be fair to the croc.

    Last big croc caught in the NT was 4.72 meters and weighed 600kg...thats about what, 1400 lbs? VS 2.05 meters and 350 lbs...Todays mate is tomorrows crocodile shit i'm afraid...

    Two friends moved to Palmerston City a few years back. If you meet any lunatics with American accents say "hi!" for me. (Bert is easy to spot, he's 6' 9" tall and weighs 350 lbs.)

    Can’t say I’ve heard too many American accents...but I don’t get out much : )
    Believe it or not Alice Springs has the highest density of Americans in Australia...that’s the middle of Australia...in the guts...in the desert...Alice Springs is also a haven for...Lesbians...as an American would say, go figure.
    For those who haven’t guessed...the Americans are from Pine Gap. Enough said.
