You do not really like the USA, d'ont you?
I watched it - for 3 minutes. Then it was decided.

The level of soccer in the United States (domestic league and the national level) is so sub-par to the rest of the world. They really talked up the game vs Argentina...if that was the most important game in US history, we may as well quit the sport now. Not even a single shot on goal. Pretty pathetic. Lets talk US Soccer 20 years from now and see if its improved.

I will say that Chile is perhaps the biggest surprise of the tournament... Beating Brazil, Mexico and Columbia is quite an accomplishment. Beating Mexico 7-0 was simply nasty!

Can't wait for the final showdown between them and Argentina!

I've been under the impression that Chile was a favorite? They won the...South American Cup, whatever that is called...and obviously beat Argentina last night (with Alexis Sanchez of Arsenal being the Player of the Tournament, woo woo). Shocked that Messi announced his Int'l retirement. I am thinking something is rotten in the Argentinian Camp...

And Argentina falls 4-2 in penalty kicks.... Doh!

Chille surprised many... Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and finally Argentina. Quite an accomplishment for a team that earned the "champion" title.

They won it the last go around too, not sure they are a 'surprise'...certainly a favorite at the start.
