publicized far and wide, I got a ton of these from who knows where and way back in the ages of time .... ah ain't they cute
Great stuff Erich, lovely photos. Here we are in this forum discussing armour thicknesses, grand strategies, campaigns, etc, and we are always, always forgetting that those crash dummys under a steel helmet were Human Beings. Thank you for reminding us. I wouldn't like to see more photos like these, I need to see more photos like these. Cheers, Za PS. I'll try and find a pic of The Red Rabbi's grandmother, but the SOB shot her himself as she was married to a kulak!
agreed Za it is all about people from all countries and not machines.... I have more wedding photos, innocent lives, war, death ............ ugh
I do know the individual LW man with many decorations was from the NSG's and made in through the war. also the funker/rear gunner in front of the Ju 87 also made it through with an incredible amount of flights with 2-3 different pilots while serving in StG 77 as for the others........... ? no clue E ~
Lovely stuff. I recently posted some of my pics in a.n.other place for similar reasons, every now and then I just like to see inconsequential or ephemeral, but very human, shots. seems like an appropriate time to double up: Cheers, Adam.
