As some of you will know already, my wife decided to file for divorce and went away to live with another guy.

This sometimes is a tragedy, fdu to the feelings of anger, betrayal, frustration, time lost, etc.

    For me it's elation!

She finally took her things yesterday, and today I'm playing Thelemann as loud as I want, am on the kitchen preparing a king crab for later (photos to follow, tremble mortals!), I've already had a beer or two for how can one cook with no booze to guide the hand? Thats's stupid!

So tonight around 8pm GMT I will sit at table with a king crab carefully prepared all fro myself, will put an appropriate playlist on play (Gymn Sivietska Soyuza, Badenweiller Marsch, Preobrasczensky Marsch, etc etc to provide accompaniment.

By Jove, if I had a battery I would stand up and wait for the 21 gun salute, for that would be proper!

So, members of the forum, at the said time I don't need a minute of silence, but a smile for a guy that has found Peace.

Gob bless all in this forum!

    Miguel

Not quite sure whether to say I am sorry or to congratulate you, Za.....Maybe a bit of both?

In any case, you had a much better dinner than I did..... ;)

I'll have a beer on you and your freedom....!?

Take it slow Za, you would not want to strain a muscle of anything. Becoming a bachelor again will require some conditioning. :D

Warmest felicitations on the occasion of your Unwedding.

Does this mean you have to send us all presents instead of vice versa?

Did she get up and leave because you spent too much time on the internet?
    If so, I'm off.

One of the funny things is that she took off with one of my best friends! He's still my friend, he has no idea how grateful I am to him :D

    Did you know the exchange:

And I thought it was a joke! It isn't

Let the guy start paying the bills and he'll come crawling to my door begging me to take her back!

Now that you have your freedom from Stress you should take a nice trip to Positano or Elba(if you want to chase some chickies);)

Italy has a very healing effect on one's soul as does Hawaii.

In the last 30 years ....here....Marriage is down 30%, and Divorce is up 40%. No-Fault is responsible for 20-25% of that. Women are the majority filers and financial irresponsibility is the #1 reason. 54.8% nationwide.
    rates for divorce per time...
    1st time----41-50%
    2nd time----60-67%
    3rd time----73-74%
Gives merit to the saying..."The first time is hard, the second time is harder, by the third time you wonder whatever it was that made it so hard in the first place."
Remember the line from "all that Jazz". a,d,b,d,a.
If you know what's coming it's not a surprise.
Best wishes on however you feel.
